Ross White oversees NCSSM's distance education programs for high school students, including interactive videoconference (IVC) and NCSSM Online.  Previously, he has served as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Virtual Public School and State Director of e-Learning for Educators, as well as the architect of one of the state's earliest online course programs for K-12 students at LEARN NC.  He teaches poetry writing and grammar in NCSSM's residential programs.

Chris Thomas has collaborated with constituents throughout NCSSM to design the academic program and support its growth, and coordinates academic components and events, including admissions.  Mr. Thomas developed and taught online earth science courses at Indiana University-IUPUI prior to coming to NCSSM.  He teaches the Green Environmental Geology course in the online program, and has taught miniterm courses in the residential program.

Chris Lee handles student technology training and technical support for the NCSSM Online program students in addition to support needs for the whole campus. He had previously worked as a technical support specialist with a statewide outreach agency of the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine.

Online Residential Coordinators

The Online Residential Coordinators are Student Life Instructors and Student Life Staff that oversee the residential components of the online program during the school year and summer.   They will contact students and family prior to a residential event.  Contact them at orc@ncssm.edu

Teaching Faculty
