What's your favorite part of your job as an Online Ambassador?
Getting to talk to people in my community about being an Online Ambassador for NCSSM.

What's your favorite part of NCSSM Online?
Having friends across the state.

What's the biggest challenge you've encountered in the Online program?
Keeping up with the Online work and my school work.

What's an "aha" moment you've experienced in one of your Online classes?
I realized that the work was only as hard and complicated as I made it. So I just had to stop overcomplicating things to make it easier on myself.

What are two of your greatest interests or passions?
I enjoy math very much and I love to write poetry.

During the pandemic, what have you missed most?
Going out to eat with my friends. It was a weekly tradition that had to stop because of the pandemic.

How are you coping during the pandemic?
I go on runs, cook, read, listen to albums all the way through, and color.

What are you looking forward to in the coming school year?
I'm looking forward to just being a senior. 13 years of school coming to an end.

What words of wisdom do you have for Online students?
Find someone to talk to. Someone in your class, or even the class above yours. We’ve all been through generally the same thing, so it's just nice to talk to someone who can understand.

Why should prospective students and their families consider NCSSM Online?
Because you get the experience of being an NCSSM student while staying home. This allows you to get the best of both worlds and experience how much you can personally handle before you're off to college.
