What's your favorite part of your job as an Online Ambassador?
My favorite part about being an Online Ambassador is being able to show off NCSSM. I love talking about my experiences as an online student and seeing people's faces light up when I talk about everything NCSSM has to offer.

What's your favorite part of NCSSM Online?
My favorite part of NCSSM Online is the Online Weekends. Online Weekends are so much fun because you finally get to see everyone face-to-face, which you don't get to do for most of the semester.

What's the biggest challenge you've encountered in the Online program?
My biggest challenge, which is a very funny challenge, is remembering to get on the webinar at the designated time and weeknight. Last semester I know I forgot once and my friend texted me to remind me to get on the webinar because we had class. Other times, I will remember 10 minutes before class starts.

How have you met that challenge?
I have had a lot of "aha" moments in my International Relations class because I had the opportunity to learn how our world connects and how countries interact with each other. It was such an eye-opening experience.

What's an "aha" moment you've experienced in one of your Online classes?
I have had a lot of "aha" moments in my International Relations class because I had the opportunity to learn how our world connects and how countries interact with each other. It was such an eye-opening experience.

What are two of your greatest interests or passions?
I am really passionate about my community at Croasdaile. I have three jobs there, and I live in the Croasdaile neighborhood as well. It is so nice to live in such a close-knit and friendly community.

If you had one year of freedom, what would you want to do?
I would travel if I had one year of freedom, specifically to Greece. I have learned a lot about Greece's history in my humanities classes and I would really like to experience it in real life.

How are you coping during the pandemic?
I have missed socializing in person the most during COVID-19. It is so difficult to not see your friends everyday in school and be able to see them on the weekends. I am staying quite busy working during the pandemic. I work at Croasdaile Country Club as part of the dining, pool, and tennis staff. Those three jobs are keeping me occupied and less bored in my free time. I am looking forward to eventually going back to school and getting to go to Online Weekends (hopefully). I wish that everything would go back to normal.

What words of wisdom do you have for Online students?
I will always say to enjoy these two years you get to be in the Online Program because it goes by so fast, so so fast. Instead of stressing about due dates and assignments, have fun and really grow an interest for the classes you're taking. Two years sounds like a lot, but it goes by extremely fast.

Why should prospective students and their families consider NCSSM Online?
NCSSM is not just a school for science and math. In fact, most of the courses I have taken in the Online Program are humanities classes. I love the humanities classes that NCSSM has to offer. A few that I have taken are International Relations, Western Political Thought, and 21st Century Media Studies. Not only does NCSSM offer some amazing classes, but they have so many other opportunities like the ambassador program, internship opportunities, and more. NCSSM gives students the opportunities to succeed and we cannot waste it.
