What's your favorite part of your job as an Online Ambassador?
I love coming to campus for Discovery Days.

What's your favorite part of NCSSM Online?
My favorite part of NCSSM Online is the courses available for me to take.

What's the biggest challenge you've encountered in the Online program?
The biggest challenge is balancing my time between my home high school, Online, and extracurriculars.

What's an "aha" moment you've experienced in one of your Online classes?
An "aha" moment I've experienced is during my final project for Introduction to Computational Science. I was running my molecules through Gaussian on the comp chem server and I had finally figured out why my molecules weren't returning the results I had expected -- I was using geometric isomers. I then found a workaround that let me put in the correct molecules.

What are two of your greatest interests or passions?
I love swimming and piano.

If you had one year of freedom, what would you want to do?
If I had a year of freedom, I'd love to spend it traveling Europe.

During the pandemic, what have you missed most?
I have missed my friends the most.

How are you coping during the pandemic?
I am coping with a lot of work and swimming.

What words of wisdom do you have for Online students?
Manage your time wisely. You probably have heard it a lot, but it doesn't get any less important.

Why should prospective students and their families consider NCSSM Online?
NCSSM Online has resources and classes that aren't usually available at the high school level. You also get to keep relationships at your home high school.
